I was born in 1976, São Paulo, Brazil.
At the age of 13, I took lessons with Mestre Percio Sapia at CLAM, the Zimbo Trio Music School.
At the age of 16, in 1992, I joined the progressive rock trio Turtles Sharks & Beavers with Flavio Marchesin (vocals, keyboards, bass) and Eduardo Tibira (guitar, backing vocals). We recorded our DEMO TAPE in 1993 and sold it at the shows we did at the iconic Black Jack bar.
In 1997, I participated in the percussion section of the Scottish Link Pipe Band, an authentic Scottish bagpipe band here in Brazil, created by the bagpiper Cristiano Taborda Bicudo. In 1998, we participated in a world festival of Scottish bagpipes in Glasgow.
Between the end of 1999 and 2002, I formed the psychedelic rock band FREAK with guitarist Paulo Penov, vocalist Eliseu Paranhos and bassist Cristiano Miano.
During this period, we composed the songs that would be recorded on the Ópera Rock 'Freak, a CD recorded years later, in 2015.
In July 2004, through pianist Ari Giorgi, I met Tito Martino and joined to his group.
In 2013, I produced and released the Cd Pioneiros do Jazz Paulistano with some of the great names in traditional brazilian jazz (Tito Martino, Hector Costita, André Busic and Carlos Lima).

In October 2020, I launched the online course VINTAGE DRUMMING, about the language of drumming in the early days of Jazz.
My composition work have a very approach from Traditional Jazz.
In them, I seek progressive and contemplative sounds, mixing rhythmic ideas influenced by the Jazz drumming, but incorporating concepts from my rock idols, Neil Peart, Bill Bruford, Carl Palmer, Keith Moon, Alan White, Nick Mason and Casey Scheuerell. You can hear here: COMPOSITIONS
I continue playing with TITO MARTINO JAZZ BAND and some other classical jazz groups in São Paulo.

Nasci em 02 de Março de 1976, São Paulo, Brasil (Brasil).
Aos 13 anos, tive aulas com o Mestre Percio Sapia no CLAM, Escola de Música do
Zimbo Trio.
Aos 16 anos, em 1992, ingressei no trio de rock progressivo Turtles Sharks & Beavers com Flavio Marchesin (vocal, teclado, baixo) e Eduardo Tibira (guitarra, backing vocals). Gravamos nossa FITA DEMO em 1993 e vendíamos nos shows que fazíamos no
ícônico bar Black Jack.
Em 1997, participei da sessão de percussão da Scottish Link Pipe Band, uma autêntica banda escocesa de gaitas de foles aqui no Brasil, criada pelo gaiteiro
Cristiano Taborda Bicudo.
Participamos em 1998 de um festival mundial de gaita de foles escocesa, em Glasgow.
Entre o final de 1999 e 2002, formei, ao lado do guitarrista Paulo Penov, do vocalista
Eliseu Paranhos e do baixista Cristiano Miano, a banda de rock psicodélico FREAK.
Nesse período, compusemos as músicas que viriam a ser registradas na Ópera Rock 'Freak, CD gravado anos depois, em 2015.
Em Julho de 2004, através do pianista Ari Giorgi, conheci Tito Martino e entrei para seu grupo. Tito foi meu grande professor de Jazz.
Em 2013, produzi e lancei o Cd Pioneiros do Jazz Paulistano com alguns dos grandes nomes do jazz tradicional brasileiro ( Tito Martino, Hector Costita, André Busic e Carlos Lima).

Neles, busco sonoridades progressivas e contemplativas, misturando ideias rítmicas influenciadas pela bateria do Jazz dos anos 1930, incorporando alguns conceitos de meus ídolos do rock, Neil Peart, Bill Bruford, Carl Palmer, Keith Moon, Alan White, Nick Mason e Casey Scheuerell.
Em outubro de 2020, lancei o curso online VINTAGE DRUMMING , sobre a linguagem da bateria dos primórdios do Jazz.
Sigo tocando com grupos de Jazz por São Paulo e gravando materiais autorais de vez em quando.
